In the subject AutoCAD students will learn basics of some programs for technical drawing, mainly rules for making a drawing and will gain ability to read drawings properly. The subject is made in cooperation with the Faculty of Mechanical engineering at CTU.

1. Basic setup of the software, basics of CAD - 2d drawing, modeling, sketches, dimensioning, 2D couplings, basic operations with the sketch, rotation, movement, templating
2. Logical operations with objects, rounding, shaping
3. Drawing of holes, windings
4. Drawing of fields, mirroring
5. Basic configurations, degrees of freedom, 3D couplings
6. Libraries of normalized parts
7. 2D drawings from 3D models
