Establishment of conditions of integrity of structures, i. e. safeness of structures with defect.
- Requirements:
- Syllabus of lectures:
-
Stresses and strain in solids (elasticity and plasticity, finite elements method, contact problems, solid with internal defects). Failure and degradation processes in material. Characteristic of fracture behaviour, fracture toughness, dynamic and reference fracture toughness KIR and reference temperature TR. Damage and fracture in bodies and systems (structural and external factors, linear and elastic-plastic fracture mechanics, acceptable size of defects and guidelines for design of structures, fatigue and creep of materials, corrosion processes, irradiation damage.). Two-parametric criteria for assessment of integrity.
