- Synopsis:
-
Advanced practicum is a two-semestral course that represents the final stage of practical education of students in the experimental nuclear physics. Practicum has a form of a work on designated project and the topic of the project is chosen such that it is complementary to the theoretical knowledge in experimental nuclear physics. Students are encouraged to form work-groups and each of them solves a particular task on this project. Finally, students attempt to propose and build and perform the experiment and then process the results to a scientific output.
