Synopsis:

There is currently no specialist in the CR field of study that would provide comprehensive training in respiratory therapy, which includes a qualified assessment of the patient, care and treatment of artificial ventilation in cardiorespiratory failure system states with depression or pharmacological inhibition of neuromuscular transmission.

Requirements:

Knowledge of anatomy, physics, physiology, biochemistry, pathophysiology, pharmacology.

Syllabus of lectures:

Artificial ventilation in chronic obstructive bronchopulmonary disease.

Artificial ventilation in severe forms of asthma.

Artificial ventilation in patients with circulatory failure.

Artificial ventilation in patients with acute pulmonary failure.

Artificial ventilation of the PCC.

Artificial ventilation in patients with polytrauma.

Specific ventilation strategies in ARDS: ECMO, IVOX, EFC, application of NO.

Artificial ventilation in infants and children.

Pneumonia ventilated patients.

Termination of artificial ventilation - „quit“ from the ventilator.

Respiratory technology.

Study Objective:

The aim is to familiarize students with the provision of comprehensive patient care in respiratory therapy, which includes a qualified assessment of the patient, care and treatment of artificial ventilation in cardiorespiratory failure system states with depression or pharmacological inhibition of neuromuscular transmission.
