The subject builds on the knowledge acquired in basic courses on economics. It introduces students to the system of economic policies as they are applied in the Czech Republic, the European Union and the world. They will thus gain knowledge about a wide range of economic policies implemented in the Czech Republic and in the European Union, from the perspective of theory and practice, politics and economics.

Exam
Completion of the course takes the form of a written exam. The preparation of a seminar paper is a condition for registering for the final written exam, i.e. completing the course.
Course evaluation has two components:
Final written exam 70 points
Seminar paper 30 points

To provide students with basic knowledge of the subject of economic policy at the national and EU level. The greatest emphasis is placed on the students' ability to estimate the results and influence of certain economic policies, including their limits at the national and transnational level.
