Synopsis:

Nucleon-nucleon(NN) interaction, few-body systems, G matrix, nuclear properties, nuclear models (single-particle model, collective motion, Hartree-Fock approximation, TDA method, RPA method, pairing, quasi-particles, nuclear deformations), electromagnetic and weak processes in nuclei, nuclear reactions (kinematics and mechanisms of nuclear reactions)

Requirements:

Knowledge of basic course of physics, quantum mechanics and subatomic physics

1.Phenomenology of NN interaction

2.Microscopic models of NN interaction

3.Nuclear matter

4.Nuclear properties,models

5.Hartree-Fock approximation,TDA method, RPA method

6.Pairing, BCS model

7.Collective motion, nuclear deformations, Nilsson-Mottelson model

8.Electromagnetic and weak processes in nuclei

9.Multipole expansion, electromagnetic transitions,beta decay

10.Kinematics and mechanisms of nuclear reactions

11.Direct reactions, resonances

12.DWBA, coupled channels approach, compound nucleus
