Dispersion systems, kinetic and optical properties of dispersions, passage through membrane. Properties of phase interfaces, surface energy and wetting, adsorption, electric double layer, electrokinetic phenomena. Lyophobic sols and suspensions, aerosols, emulsions and foams, lyophilic colloidal solutions, gels.
The lecture will be understood by students who master basic knowledge of physics, chemistry and mathematics at the undergraduate level.
