Synopsis:

Garant: Doc. Ing. Tomáš Matuška, Ph.D.

The course extends the knowledge of previous study. It describes combined heat and power generation, gas-steam cycles. District heating station design with the inclusion of heating distribution system and delivery station.

Requirements:

It describes combined heat and power generation, gas-steam cycles. District heating station design with the inclusion of heating distribution system and delivery station.

Syllabus of lectures:

Energy efficiency of cogeneration. Open and closed gas cycles. Brayton´s, Joule´s and Stirling´s cycles. Combined steam - gas cycles with inner heat recuperation (either without additional heating or with it). Calculation of thermal and total cycle efficiency. Modeling of chosen cycles. Heat distribution nets - static and dynamic stress. The influence of heat accumulation in district heating net onto specific fuel consumption in cogeneration source. Geothermal heat source for district heating. Ecological benefits of district heating.

Syllabus of tutorials:

It describes combined heat and power generation, gas-steam cycles. District heating station design with the inclusion of heating distribution system and delivery station.

Study Objective:

It describes combined heat and power generation, gas-steam cycles. District heating station design with the inclusion of heating distribution system and delivery station.
