Syllabus of lectures:

- Effect of visco-elastic properties of polymer materials on their stress and deformation states, visco-elastic theorie, analogy with theory of elasticity, limit states and strength hypotheses

- Specific properties of plastics and polymer materials at design of machine members, utilization of these properties at improvement of operation behaviour of assembly units with applied plastic elements and members

- General requirements for design of plastic machine membres, their shaping and dimensioning

- Methods of design calculation of plastic machine members, specification of their operation utilization and improvement of working durability through suitable maintenance

- Design solution and calculation of operating durability at individual concrete plastic machine members

- Joining of plastic elements a their joining with non-plastic elements of assembly units

- Application of design plastics in mechanical drives, shaft couplings and clutches, bearings, pipelines and fittings

- Special applications of design plastics in machine members and assembly units, belt and chain conveyers, rollers, springs, sesle, shock absorbers, etc.
