Measurement and measuring instruments for selected physical quantities. Temperature measurement: thermocouples, thermistors, radiation, optical fibres. Pressure, forces, torque and displacement measured by: strain-gauges, inductive and capacitive transducers, optical-correlation methods. Flowrate measurement: orifice, turbine, Coriolis forces, inductive flowmeters, ultrasound Doppler/Transit time, thermal flowmeters. Thermodynamic propeerties: thermal and electric conductivities, heat capacities, viscosity (rotational and capillary rheometers). A/D converters, serial and parallel data transfer, measuring software (Labview). Data evaluation (statistics, regression analysis, noise filtration, fast Fourier transform, signal correction).
