An emphasis will be placed on the necessary steps in planning, operating and evaluating of manufacturing process. The topics include: Entrepreneurial Characteristics of Production Systems. Operations Competitiveness, Productivity and Strategy. Japanese methods of Improving Productivity. Recent Trends for Production Systems Designing. The Significance of Aggregate Planning. Production Planning and Budgeting Process and the Role of Engineering Economy. Reasons for Preparing the Manufacturing Business Plan. Decision Making in Production Management. Using Forecast Information in Production System. Value Analysis Introduction. Processes of Manufacturing Standardization. Material Resources and Capacity Planning.
