Legislation, injury criteria. Mechanisms of injuries. Human body dynamics. Mechanical properties of biological material. Injury severity evaluation (AIS). Biomechanics of human body parts injuries: head, thorax, spine, pelvis, extremities. Vehicle occupant injuries and restraint systems effectiveness. Pedestrian injuries. Child safety in vehicle. Traffic injuries in special cases (pregnancy).
