Anotace:

In technological plants and processes, a desired state or operation sequence is ensured by means of automatic control circuits. Fundamental notions, examples of control problems in continuous and discrete time solved with support of computer program Malab/Simulink are the substantial subjects of the classes.

Požadavky:

Previous knowledge of linear algebra, complex calculus, Laplace transform, linear differential equations is advantageous but not essential.

Osnova přednášek:

Principles of automatic control, terminology, tasks.

Control system as a tool for designing, modelling, investigating real control circuits.

Block schemes.

Controlled processes, description, modelling, ways of control. Controller selection and its parameter setting from the viewpoint stability and control quality. ^

Controllers operating continuously and discreetly in time - comparison, special features. Advanced control problems.

All demonstrated by examples continuously processed in MATLAB/Simulink program.

Osnova cvičení:

Lectures and exercises are mutually interconnected and hold in computer laboratory with immediate computer demo or own solving problems by means program Matlab/Simulink.

Cíle studia:

To acquaint students of mechanical engineering with

principles of automatic control, to teach them terms used

in control system analysis and synthesis. They should

understand nature of problems solved in control circuit

design and be able to confront obtained theoretical

knowledge with results from simulation based on use MATLAB/Simulink. More detailed attention is devoted to dynamic

simulation of technological processes and their control.^
