In order to register for the course D04AM2, the student must have registered for the course D04AM1 in a previous semester.

It is not possible to register for the course D04AM2 if the student is concurrently registered for or has previously completed the course D04AJM (mutually exclusive courses).

Synopsis:

The course follows the winter semester and continues to develop the knowledge and skills needed to present the results of scientific work orally and in writing. After completing both semesters, the PhD student takes an examination. Preparation for the exam includes reading about 100 pages of a professional text with a focus on the language, and then writing a paper of a given scope. The exam consists of an oral and written part; the latter is attended by PhD student´s supervisor.
