Synopsis:

The course acquaint students with the main trends of progress in the field of telecommunication networks in the sense of transmission speed increasing and introduction of wide band networks with contemporaneous integration networks and services convergence. Separate part of the course represents description of TMN (Telecommunication Management Network), which integrates supervising and control systems of network nodes of particular levels of modern telecommunication network architecture.

Requirements:

Basics of telecommunications - technical and regulatory framework skills, basics of system analysis, relevant mathematics and physics, management and financial tools applicable in telecommunications business.

Study Objective:

Understanding new trends in providing electronic communication services, convergence process in the area of e-communications, the hierarchal architecture of management approach allowing services with defined quality and security.
