Theory of Transport

Theory of transport generates presumptions for development in solution of general problems of transport on the scietific base. The students are introduced into basic postulates of this branch of science in order to obtain a tool for development and implementation of scietific approach to problems of design, decision making, control, management and enterprising in transport.<br>\r\nThe contents of lessons is above all:\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>definition of transport nets and their components, movement of a transport element on the transport net\r\n<li>homogenous and heterogenous transport nets, their hierarchic ordering, vertical and horizontal intersections\r\n<li>capacity of transport networks\r\n<li>transport flows, their characteristics (deterministic or stochastic) and control\r\n<li>optimization in distribution of transport flows in networks\r\n<li>theory of quality of transportation\r\n</ul>
Completed bachelor degree. Knowledge of subjects: Operational research and Basics of transport theory or their equivalent.

Decision-making and operative processes in transportation. Mathematical models of transport nets and transport processes. Optimalization in processes of delocalization.
