Synopsis:

Propulsion, energetic and storage systems of vehicles, energy sources, traction-energetic properties, laws of vehicle motion, determination of energy consumption in given conditions, assessment of energetic requirements, traction-energetic concepts, technical, economic and social aspects, energetic rationalization, complexní assessment of traction energetic conceptions. Energetics of high speed railways.

Requirements:

Knowledge in the field of mathematics, technical physics - mechanics, energetics and electrotechnics and in the field of the transprot economics.

Study Objective:

Knowlwdge about various forms of energy and its sources with regard to specific demands of use in land transport. Factors influencing the energy intensity. Methodic guideline for complex determination and assessment of energetic requirements in particular branches of rail and road transport. Ways to energetic rationalization.
