Synopsis:

The course is based on the Ministry of Health Decree No. 55/2011 which sets out the activities of health workers and other professionals.

Practice will take place in the block during the holidays at the end of second year.

The aim is to gain practical skills and knowledge in pre-hospital emergency care in situations specific to urgent wartime medicine and emergency situations in cooperation with the components of the integrated rescue system, in briefings to provide general first aid, including mentoring at a distance of driving, navigating and other knowledge skills.

Requirements:

Valid vaccination against hepatitis B, completed health and safety, 100% attendance, absence is to be replaced at a different time, a certificate completed professional practice in the daily records relevant department.

Safe extrication, positioning, immobilization and transportation of patients

Addressing the consequences of casualties within the Integrated Rescue System

Operation and maintenance of EMS vehicles

Extended cardiopulmonary resuscitation using manual breathing apparatus and external electrical defibrillation;

Airway management tools available, the introduction and application of inhalation of oxygen therapy, ventilation, instrumentation parameters designated doctor; care for respiratory patients during mechanical ventilation;

The application of medicines, including blood derivatives;

The introduction of mild therapeutic hypothermia

Catheterization of the urinary bladder of adult women and girls over 10 years;

Collection of biological material for examination;

Production carried out in extreme poverty, ie without the presence of a physician when there is a danger of

default:

release and to ensure a patent airway, including tracheal intubation;

artificial ventilation, oxygen inhalation therapy;

suction of the airways;

cardiopulmonary resuscitation, including external electrical defibrillation after previous ECG showing rhythm indicated for defibrillation;

during cardiopulmonary resuscitation in the application of adrenaline / intratracheal;

cannulation of peripheral veins / intraosseal approach;

administration of drugs and infusion solutions in regimes under consideration (spray to dilate the coronary bed, bronchodilation, applications neopiátového im analgesics in trauma);

diagnosis of clinically indicated blood glucose and subsequent application of glucose orally, or hypoglycaemia in;

treatment of pneumothorax;

performance of medical practices.

Study Objective:

The goal is to acquire practical work of students and the use of theoretical knowledge in the care of patients. Another aim is to gradually adapt to work in your chosen field, working to learn the procedures for treating patients.
