- Department of Engineering Equipment of Buildings
- Synopsis:
-
In the view of the pedagogical objectives of this subject, basic geometrical and technical concepts of illumination shall be considered in a clear form, concerning the subject, specialization, eventually the branch of „Lighting of Buildings“. Light has a significant impact on the environment inside the building, on the physiology of seeing, and on the human health. The influence of the sun, insolation, its control, building orientation and indoor light climate justify the significance of artificial lighting. The students shall get basic knowledge in projecting of the lighting system of building, light sources, as well as illustrating practical cases in the market via study trips. The core matter shall be directions and examples of calculation of artificial lighting of a building, and economic rates related to concrete, considerable energy saving connected with implementation of artificial lighting in intelligent buildings.
- Requirements:
-
There isn?t requirement on relationship to other subjects.
