Synopsis:

Subject includes fundamentals of proposal of air - exhaust gas way and proposal of boiler-rooms.Subject is divided to the complex containing characterictics of appliances, supply of combustion air, ventilation of boiler-rooms, flue gas exhaust, connection and disposition of boiler - rooms. Every introduced complex is described with functional and constructive principle, legislative basics of proposal, computational models and examples of solution.

Requirements:

Subject 125YKOT is elective subject of magister study. Prerequisity is graduation subject 125EEB1 or 125BEE1 or 125TBA1 - subjects are obligatory in baccalaureate study.

Syllabus of lectures:

1. Combustion of fuelling, constitution and characteristics of exhaust gas (combustion products), diagram of exhaust gas

2. Division of appliances, charakteristics of boilers and heaters of warm water, determination of efficiency

3. Regime of operation, regulation, efficiency, diagram of connection

4. Air supply to appliances, pressure conditions, ventilation of boiler-rooms

5. Disposition of boiler - rooms and rooms with appliance - variants of solution

6. Fundamentals for placement of appliances and flue gas exhaust - TPG, declarations notices

7. Construction of chimneyes - pressure, thermal and humidity variants

8. Standard and functional partition of chimneyes, chimneyes serving more than one heating appliance, forced draught

9. Proposal fundamentals of flue gas exhaust according to CSN and EN

10. Heat humidity assessment of chimneyes - computational methods

11. Hydraulic assessment of air - exhaust gas way - stationary and fluctuating state

12. Example of heat technical parameters of air - exhaust gas way

13. Example hydraulic assessment of air - exhaust gas way. Proposal of individual and system chimney according to CE

Syllabus of tutorials:

During semester are processed two basic separate (isolated) exercises:

- Calculation example and proposal of equipment for air supply and ventilation of boiler - room.

- Example of hydraulic and heat technical calculation and proposal variant´s solution of exhaust gas way.

Study Objective:

Subject puts for goal make the one`s acquaintance with fundamentals of calculation and with proposal of boiler - rooms establishment and air - exhaust gas way, namely from standpoint functional, dispositional and legislative. Theoretic fundamentals have practical way out for using in engineer`s office profession.
