Procedures for fire design of concrete structures. Nominal and parametric fire exposures. Verification methods of fire resistance. Mechanical, thermal and physical properties of concrete and steel at elevated temperatures. Design procedures: tabulated data or testing, simplified calculation methods, advanced calculation methods. Shear torsion and anchorage of reinforcement. Spalling of concrete. Addition rules for high strength concrete.

1) Behavior of concrete and masonry structures at fire. Nominal and parametric fire exposures.
2) Verification methods of fire resistance. Mechanical, thermal and physical properties of concrete, steel and masonry at elevated temperatures.
3) Design methods for fire design of concrete structures - overview, principles and binding limits for use.
4) Design methods for fire design of concrete structures - design using tables or testing.
5) Simplified and advanced calculation methods. Effects of fire on elements and structures by using high strength concrete - addition rules for design.
6) Evaluation of fire resistance of masonry structures. Properties of masonry at elevated temperatures.
7) Design methods of fire resistance of masonry walls and columns.

2) Calculation of temperature at heated concrete members.
3) Slab, beam and column - evaluation of fire resistance using tables.
4) Slender columns - evaluation of fire resistance using tables.
5) Slab, beam - evaluation of fire resistance using 500°C isotherm method.
Concrete wall - evaluation of fire resistance using zone method.
6) Masonry wall - evaluation of fire resistance.
7) Masonry column - evaluation of fire resistance.
