Synopsis:

Introductory course for modelling and simulation of building energy performance.

Requirements:

Syllabus of lectures:

Introduction into „building and energy“ problem, theoretical

background of building energy perfpormance modelling - aplied

thermodynamics, solar processes, psychrometry, theory of indoor

environment. Overview of modelling methods and tools.Introduction

into „esp-r“ - method, climate data, materials, constructions,

optical properties, load profiles. Case studies. Practical

training in building energy performance modelling.

2 Dynamic energy simulation - climate data - assignment 2

Study Objective:

Student acquire knowledge of dynamic simulation of building energy systems phenomena on recognition level. Methods and tools for building energy systems optimization including complex simulation programs are also included.
