Grading of the course requires grading of the following courses:
Anatomy and Physiology II. (17BBAF2)
Lecturer:
Leoš Navrátil (gar.), Věra Adámková
Tutor:
Lucia Lukacková
Supervisor:
Department of medical branches and humanities
Synopsis:

The subject provides a brief, clear and integral concept of medical branches, particularly internal medicine. The purpose of the subject is to acquaint the students with basic diseases, primary and secondary prevention of internal diseases and to define terms associated with the consideration of the patient health condition.

The student should be able to compare and differentiate from each other methods of health examination, described procedures for the basic clinical examination and understand its principle and importance. He/she is supposed to know methods of monitoring the patient health condition.

Requirements:

credit: Presentation on practical exercises on the subject for leading seminars. The presentation will be in the form of lectures with the possibility of using power-point length from 10 to 15 minutes followed by discussion in which students must be able to substantiate the facts stated in the communication. Credit is a condition that the presentation will not be classified as a sign of F.

test: regular term in the form of a test in the range of literature and reference substances odpřednášené in lectures and seminars. The minimum number of points for the quiz is 16 points from 30 possible. The test contains 30 questions with three possible answers (the number of correct answers from zero to three).

classification test

A - 29 - 30 points

B - 26 - 28 points

C - 23 - 25 points

D - 20 - 22 points

E - 16 - 19 points

F <16 points

The resulting mark is an average mark of seminars and presentations on the test. Classification of F from one part of the reason for the overall classification of F grades.

Correction terms in the form of oral literature in the range of reference substances and odpřednášené in lectures and seminars (exam questions and a mirror attached and are also available on the website of the Department). Student draws two questions. Ignorance is one reason to question qualification exam degrees F.

note: the interval between regular and repeat the test or corrective tests from the test must be at least seven days.

5th topic - Infectious diseases (sources of infectious diseases, routes of the infection transfer, forms of infectious diseases, bacterial, viral, mycotic and parasitic infections, nosocomial infections)

6th topic - Damage to the organism based on physical disorders (hyperthermia, hypothermia, injury with the electrical current, electromagnetic field, drowning and near drowning, effects of atmospheric pressure)

Study Objective:

Fundamentals of Pathology and Diagnostic Methods is an integrative and closing subject of medical subjects for biomediacl engineers. Its goal is to give a context of diseases to diagnostic findings and elucidate the procedure of obtaining diagnosis and a decision tree based on diagnostic findings.
