Understanding the history of knowledge of historic architecture as a basis for their reconstruction and methods of protection in terms of theoretical and practical in the country and abroad. The content of lectures is to show approaches of architects to conversions of buildings in the history of architecture, the history of understanding of historical monuments, monument preservation and development of preservation of historical monumetns untill nowdays. Readers are acquaited with fundamental information about monument preservation in Czech Republic and european countries. Survey methods and basic structural-historical analysis.
