Subject gives information on mechanical, thermal and hygric properties of building materials. It deals also with problem of experimental measurement and testing of material properties. Part of the subject is focused on effect of environmental conditions and other factors on material performance and behaviour.

The aim of the subject is to give detailed information on mechanical, thermal and hygric properties of building materials. The students will give information also on experimental measurement of material properties and building material testing. They will obtain also information of material behaviour and performance at specific environmental conditions.
