A description of porous medium. Mechanisms of water and gas transfer in porous medium. Basic models of heat, liquid water and water vapour in building materials. Basic transport and accumulative parameters of coupled heat, liquid water and water vapor transfer and description of determining methods. Point of basic heat and moisture material parameters used in material design. Examination methods of heat-moisture state of building constructions. Czech and European standards for examination of heat-moisture state and its borders of usability.

Students must prove understanding of heat and moisture transport.
Further, students must prove understanding of application technical standards on examination heat and moisture state of building construction.
