The lectures will explain what does it mean to manage construction company in sustainable way with concentration of "greening? the construction business. We will go through the basics on what sustainability is and what a sustainable organization looks like. A wide range of tools, guidelines, techniques and concepts that you can use to implement sustainability practices will be explained. We will discuss the processes as well as products (what does it mean Green Construction in practice). We will use a lot of examples from the world, talk about latest trends and problems companies face when implementing sustainable concepts in practice. You will also learn that each process in the company (including Accounting, Finance, Marketing etc.) can have sustainable aspects. We expect that this will be unique course which is becoming more and more popular also on prestigious German, British and American universities and is not provided by any other university in the Czech Republic.
