Geotechnical problems of hydraulic structures

Synopsis:

The subject of the study is troubles solution during the design and operation of hydraulic structures - weirs, dams, navigation structures and hydropower plants - focusing to foundation. Students get further acquainted with the solution of technical troubles during the design and operation of hydraulic structures (with the help of practical examples).

Syllabus of lectures:

presentation of the solution of geotechnical troubles - 12 selected hydraulic schemes

Syllabus of tutorials:

analysis of the presented solution for 12 hydraulic schemes

Study Objective:

The goal of the study is to inform about the experiences in the solution of different geotechnical troubles of hydraulic structures and to perform the analysis of such experience.
