Reservoirs - stratification, eutrophication, acidification. Water quality monitoring. Water quality classification in the Czech Republic. Water quality protection - legislation.

Characterization of water composition. Mass balances, transport and transformation processes. Ideal reactors. Hydraulic behaviour of systems. Pollution mixing and transport in rivers, modelling of selfpurification. Simple models of reservoir eutrophication.
