The fundamentsls of theory of mass, momentum and energy transfer in one-component materials and linear mixtures. Balance equation of mass and momentum, 1st equation of motion. Balance equation of angular momentum, 2nd equation of motion. Balance equation of mechanical energy. Fundamentals of irreversible thermodynamics, constitutive equations. Basic material models in thermomechanics. Balance equation of internal and total energy. Mechanisms of moisture transfer in porous media. Modeling of coupled liquid water and water vapor transfer in building materials. Modeling of coupled heat and moisture transport. Basic models of coupled heat and moisture transport used in building practice.
