This course is aimed at practical solution of track maintenance and upgrading of railway lines. Its target is to introduce the principle and organisation of maintenance, work actions by maintenance and renewal, maintenance machines including their technical specification and the used technology proceses . It covers particularly following actions: measuring of the track geometry, ballast cleaning, tamping, ballasting, track lying, rail welding and grinding, material transportation, etc.
