Synopsis:

To teach students fundamentals of steel design of masts, towers, chimneys, tanks, silos nad buncres and pipelines.Also suspended and cable stayed bridges, transportation bridges. To show systems of aluminium structures. Principals of erection of steel structures.

Stability of frames. Lateral torsional buckling. Plate buckling. Built-up compression members. Advanced design of steel-concrete composite structures. Torsion. Cold-formed steel profiles. Tubular structures. Crane runways. High-rise buildings. Structures of large spans, stadiums, halls. Towers, masts.

Design of un-propped composite floor beam.
