Synopsis:

Simulation utilization in research and applications. Control and simulation language types. Continuous simulation. Discrete simulation. Combined discrete/continuous simulation. Solution of simulation problems, time and state event, numerical integration, time step choice, the CDCSIS system. FEM. Examples of practical task solutions.

Requirements:

Assessment: active participation on the solution of excercises

Examination: fulfillment of requirements for assessment, knowledges covering the extent of the course

Syllabus of lectures:

Simulation utilization in research and applications. Control and simulation language types. Continuous simulation. Discrete simulation. Combined discrete/continuous simulation.
