Synopsis:

Overview of printing and reprographic procedures used for printing and reproduction of maps. Image and text originals and their reproduction. Reproduction photography. Processing of printing data, proof and print of maps. Digitizing of maps, photography correction, maps facsimile production. Map completing and bookbinding. Reprographic techniques in cartography. Photomicrography and its applications.

Study Objective:

The student will be able to compile projects of maps and other graphical works in reproduction and printing.
