Focus on regional typology, demarcation of regions, role of regional plans. Attendants deal with recreational, agricultural, industrial, urban and metropolitan regions, lecturer explains their deficits and development tendencies as well as goals and directions of regional policy, the role of the architect in regional planning, presents tools of geographical research in regional development.

To make the attendant familiar with historical and current conditions and tendencies in regional development in the Czech Republic and abroad, with settlement trends at national and European level
