Synopsis:

MATLAB environment, command mode, variables and data types, operators, expressions, statements, saving of variables, MATLAB and user functions, program mode, debugging, graphic mode, 2D and 3D graphs, import of Excel data, symbolic mathematics, objects.

Requirements:
Syllabus of lectures:

1. MATLAB environment, variable, expression, statement; data import, working with scalar variables, creating of scripts

2. user functions, debugging, selected MATLAB functions

3. symbolic math toolbox

4. working with vectors and strings, 2D graphics, system of handle graphics

5. working with matrices, operators summary, MATLAB and linear algebra, working with polynoms, special characters summary

6. 3D graphics, working with images, image processing toolbox

7. MATLAB and numerical methods I

8. MATLAB and numerical methods II

9. working with cell arrays and structures

10. working with objects

11. other applications of MATLAB I

12. other applications of MATLAB II

Study Objective:

Knowledge of MATLAB environment, including the graphics subsystem.

Ability to create user functions and scripts, ability to import data into the MATLAB environment and process them as required.
