The course develops the student´s knowledge from CESP2. It includes working with authentic specialist materials, their interpretation and presentation, and, finally, presentation of the student´s project. Writing skills necessary for professional communication are trained.

Based on the required and recommended sources, the course is focused on training syntax and style of formal scientific writings, writing a CV, letter of application, description of the faculty
preparing a presentation, basic principles of writing a bachelor´s degree project

The course is run as a series of seminars following the topics and scope of the syllabus mentioned above.
- Study Objective:

Knowledge:
Morphology, syntax, and lexis at the level appropriate to the course, particularly more complex compound sentences, terms and their usage, condensed writing.
Skills:
To use the acquired knowledge in everyday communication and in more professional contexts, namely to structure and write an article on a specialised topic including an abstract, correct citation referring to bibliography, use audiovisuals in presentations. To write a CV, letter of application, personal statement, use adequate language in an inerview.
To qualify for CESP examination,
to reach CEFR B2 level extended to technical language.
