Grading of the course requires grading of the following courses:
Deformation and Failure of Materials (132PPMA)
Lecturer:
Petr Kabele
Tutor:
Petr Kabele
Supervisor:
Department of Mechanics
Synopsis:

Students learn how to use models describing nonlinear deformation and damage of materials to solve practical engineering problems. Students also acquaint themselves with practical use of general purpose FEM programs to solve advanced problems of mechanics. The lessons take place in a computer classroom. Students work in teams.

Requirements:

Passed exam in 132PPMA. Basic command of English.

Syllabus of lectures:
Syllabus of tutorials:
Study Objective:

The goal of this subject is to deepen and practically use knowledge gained in preceding subject Deformation and Damage of Materials (132PPM).

Study materials:

1) ADINA R&D, ADINA Theory and modeling guide.

2) Bathe K.J.: Finite Element Procedures, Prentice Hall, 1996.

3) Bittnar Z., Šejnoha J.: Numerické metody mechaniky 1, 2, Vydavatelství ČVUT, Praha 1992.
