Terminology. Main parts of bridges. Spatial arrangement of bridges. Actions and load-bearing capacity of bridges. Principles of design. Reliability of bridges. Analysis of bridge structures from plain concrete, reinforced concrete and pre-stressed concrete. Prefabrication and standardization. Bridge equipment, bearings and expansion joints.
