- Synopsis:
-
Amplification of knowledge received from course 134OK1. Structure of steel and its choice for steel structures, reliability of steel structure design, stability and resistance of compact and built-up compression members, stability of beams, torsion of members, fatigue and joints. Design of steel and concrete composite beams according to elastic and plastic theory, thin-walled elements. Details of multi-storey and tall building design, industrial building design and roofs with large span.
