Synopsis:

Economics of education deals with the issues of financial flows in the school system, kinds of means, effectiveness, qualification, competencies for management of individual processes in education (competencies in the area of law exercise, economy, organization of pedagogical process at school and within extracurricular activities).

Study Objective:

To provide students with latest information on mutual relations and influences between the educational process and the economy. It focuses on explaining the influences on the economic effectiveness of education from the standpoint of an individual (student), his/her future career and society (level of education in population).

Study materials:

Students are in addition to literature available in libraries available CD-ROM with complete course content of theses issues and tasks for independent work and preparation of teaching materials. Furthermore, currently supplemented by texts and study support the intranet MIAS.
