The course is an introduction to basics of constructive geometry. It deals with projections (axonometric projection and perspective), solids, curves and surfaces. Besides classical descriptive geometrical methods the analytical methods are applied. Practical applications are taken from different engineering areas.

2. Axonometry.
3. Oblique projection.
4. Solids, Platonic solids, polyhedra.
5. Shading.
6. Perspective.
7. Perspective of a circle.
8. Curves - examples, helix.
9. Surfaces - examples, different types of the analytic description.
10. Quadrics.
11. Hyperbolic paraboloid and its applications.
12. Ruled surfaces.
13. Transformations in plane.
14. Transformations in space.

Students have a good knowledge of projective methods, axonometry, displaying selected solids and lighting. They can use perspective. Students know curves and are able to calculate torsion and curvature. They can identify and use quadrics.
