Synopsis:

Historic entrance, projections of the Earth and corrections of measured quantities. Basic geodetic instruments (theodolites, distance meters), tools and their parts. Instruments errors and their elimination. Theoretic grouning of horizontal, vertical and distance measurements. Centering of measured quantities. Basic coordinate calculations.

Study Objective:

To know basic survey procedures during angle and distance measurement. To know measured data processing, their corrections and to know simply methods of accuracy criteria determination. To know basic coordinate calculations from measured values.
