Synopsis:

Principles of sensors and actuators. Basics of measuring theory and actuating influence. The respective technologies and construction principles. Sensors of mechanical, electro-magnetic, state (temperature, humidity), chemical and particle flow values. Electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic actuators and solid phase elements.

Requirements:

knowledge of physics, electrotechnology, electronics, computers and materials within the scope of bachelor studies

Study Objective:

Knowledge of the basics of sensors and actuators in transportation and technique. Ability to apply and design sensor and / or actuator chains, and to analyse and eliminate errors and noise.
