Hydraulic characteristics of porous medium, governing equation for unsaturated flow, initial and boundary conditions. Infiltration, redistribution, evaporation, drainage, capillary rise. Subsurface stormflow. Flow in saturated formations. Transport of contaminants, hydrodynamic dispersion, governing equations, reactive transport.
