Synopsis:

The aim of the subject is to recognize the principle and form of money, company finances, a state budget and public expenditure. In exercises we pay attention to practical parts of a tutorial - processing the application for credit, stock trade, principles of bank and financial services.

Syllabus of lectures:

1.The positron of money in economy

The principle and function of money, a temporal value of money, the development of money emission and circulation, bank and electronic money. Monetary aggregates, structures of money, the costs of money holding

2.The financial market

Division and institutional arrangement of the financial market, financial mediators, participants at financial market: private subjects, municipality, state - on the money demand/supply side

3.The price of money

The influence of interest rate and interest on private subjects, municipality and state. Evaluation of money and inflation. Causes and results of inflation, measuring of inflation

4.Stocks

Functions, types and use of stocks. Property and credits stocks. Development of inflation, stock portfolio, stock market

5.Company finances I

Property and financial structure of company, assets and liabilities. Floating property and system of short - term financing - operating the supplies and debts, commercial and bank credit, short-term stocks

6.Company finances II

Long-term property and system of long-term financing, selection criteria of investment, financial leasing, forfeiting, factoring and other forms of long-term financing. Risk in financial planning

7.Company finances III

Resources for company financing, profit, funds, loan resources, the effect on dividend value and growth, methods of company evaluation, the value of shareholder's capital, yield evaluation

8.Banking system and financial market

The aims and principles of banking business, types of banks, shareholder's capital, loan resources, the affect of liabilities on funding of liquidity and profitability, primary and secondary reserves

9.Bank products

Assets and liability bank products, operating assets and liabilities, credit reinsurance, prospective banking business

10.Banking facilities

CAMBISM, exchange dealings, stock trade, precious metal trade, depot trade, other services

11.Public funds and financial market

State budget, function and equilibrium problems, revenue and expenditure, budget balance, fiscal federalism, decentralization

12.Public funds II

Public expenditure, structure and efficiency of public expenditure, public expenditure programs, budget deficit, public debt, debt problem solution

13.Public funds III

Public revenue - structuring, tax income. Social insurance ad social security financing system

14.European integration and its significance for Czech financing

European Bank as a bank of Central Banks, monetary integration, incorporation of the Czech financial system into European Union, foreign currency reserves, structure, currency basket
