The course is based on course SZ2, and develops the student´s vocabulary and grammar structure. The course covers realia (history and culture) of the Spanish-speaking countries, mainly of Spain. It pays attention to further grammar topics (e.g., the conditional and subjunctive , and imperfect tense), to written and oral communication on a given everyday or subtechnical topic ( mainly as a monologue), for which the student is trained by reading texts or listening to them. He/she is also trained to précis facts.

The course is run as a series of seminars following the topics and scope of the syllabus mentioned above.

Knowledge of morphology,syntax,and lexis at the level appropriate to the course and their application in everyday communication.
Skills:
To make use of acquired knowledge and skills to understand short reports, letters, to use Spanish in everyday well known situations, to take short notes, to write a short personal letter and letter of thanks.
