Synopsis:

The options of an effective compilation on NC program for CNC machine tool for turning and milling. Hand, workshop floor and automated programing using CAM software. Work with control systems from different manufacturers.

Requirements:

Knowledge of methods of cutting technology.

Syllabus of lectures:

1. Hand programming - turning.

2. Parametrical imput in NC program.

3. Hand programming - milling.

4. Hand programming - subroutines in NC program.

5. CAM - NC program creation for lathe.

6. CAM - NC program creation for lathe - macros.

7. CAM - NC program creation for milling machine - 2,5D.

8. CAM - NC program creation for milling machine - 3D.

9. CAM - NC program creation for milling machine - multiaxis.

10. Workshopfloor programming - turning.

11. Workshopfloor programming - milling machine.

12. Programming using a MENU - grinders and special machines.

13. CAM for swiss type lathe - partprogram creation.

4. Hand programming - make-up NC of program with Branch on Condition for CNC milling machine.

5. Mechanical programming - make-up of partprogram for processor turning operation.

6. Mechanical programming - make-up of partprogram for processor turning work - macro.

7. Mechanical programming - make-up of partprogram for processor milling operation in 2.5D.

8. Mechanical programming - make-up of partprogram for processor milling operation in 3D.

9. Mechanical programming - make-up of partprogram for processor milling operation in more D.

10. Workshop programming turning lathe- make-up of partprogram.

11. Workshop programming milling machine- make-up of partprogram.

12. MENU - Machine programming.

13. Machine programming - make-up of partprogram for turning operation on Precision Automatic Lathe.

Study Objective:

Acquaint student with basics of programming of CNC machines.
