Balance of payments (balances and their interpretation in economy). Foreign exchange rate (systems, fundamental and technical analysis). Foreign exchange exposure and risk. Foreign exchange operations (forward, swap, futures, options, speculating, calculation). Direct and portfolio foreign investments. European monetary and capital markets (Eurobanks, Eurocredit, Eurobond market). International financial and monetary institutions (IMF, EMU).

This course aims to provide a general knowledge of international financial relationships. It includes topics such as foreign exchange operations, foreign exchange rate, direct and portfolio investments, foreign exchange exposure and risk. Solutions to some typical examples from international investment, foreign exchange hedging, speculating and calculation are taught.
