Synopsis:

Distribution tasks, models, methods, comparison, assignment tasks, models, methods, comparison, location tasks, discrete and continuous location, allocation, routing of vehicles, VRP, TSP, design fo networks and subnetworks in transportation systems, methods of network analysis in technology of transportation and logistics systems, principles of modelling.

Requirements:

Knowledge of basics of theory of transport, probability, statistics, technology of transport and logistics, modelling of systems a processes, optimization and decision making in transport, graphs theory and its application in transport.

Study Objective:

The main goal of the subject is to make students acquainted with key problems of decision making in transportation and logistics systems with focus to the solution of distribution tasks, transport servicing of the area, location tasks, design of networks and subnetworks.
